All our spore products are legal under U.S. federal law for microscopy and research. They contain no psilocybin or psilocin. However, some states and cities have additional restrictions. We advise checking your local laws before ordering. Important: We do not condone or support cultivation. Please don’t contact us with grow-related questions—doing so may result in cancellation of your order.
At Spore Genetics, we work exclusively with strong-performing mushroom strains. Each liquid culture is developed from proven genetic material—carefully isolated and stabilized through meticulous plate work to ensure clean, resilient results for microscopy-focused research.
Isolated syringes contain a single, high-performing genetic line selected from top-performing mycelium plates. This offers a more predictable and stable research experience compared to multi-spore syringes, which contain many genetic variations. Keep in mind: isolated syringes generally have a shorter shelf life than multi-spore versions and should be stored refrigerated.
Psilocybe cubensis—commonly nicknamed “cubes,” “shrooms,” “mushies,” “shroomies,” “boomers,” or “magic mushrooms”—are a species of psychoactive mushroom known for containing psilocybin and psilocin. They are among the most studied psychedelic fungi worldwide, appreciated for their genetic diversity, global reach, and distinctive features under the microscope. Some also refer to related sclerotia as the “flesh of the gods.”
