North Spore Isolated Spore Syringe – 10cc | Spore Genetics
A Wild-Type Thai Psilocybe cubensis That Grows Straight Up – In-House North Spore Isolation by Spore Genetics
North Spore is named for the way it grows. The stems run tall, thick, and straight, and they keep reaching until something stops them — like a needle finding north. The line came to us as a wild-type Thai cubensis sample; the species is most often documented in Thailand on elephant dung in pasture and forest-edge habitat, and the sample’s source line is undocumented, so we list it as a wild Thai cubensis rather than tying it to any named variety. We selected it, stabilized it, and named it in-house.
This syringe is that isolate: the single genetic line we selected out of the wild population and stabilized, so the tall habit and the cap behavior described here are what you get, sample after sample. What you record on one slide is what you will see on the next — the right format for building a Thai cubensis reference set.
The other signature is the cap. Young caps are convex and golden-caramel with a pale margin. As they mature they flatten out broad and darken to a deep purple-brown — the heaviest-sporulating specimens go nearly black from the center out — and the veil remnants hanging from the stem turn black with deposited spores. That darkening is what a heavy sporulator looks like. Like most tropical cubensis, the line is noted for vigorous, rhizomorphic mycelium and a reputation for resilience to contamination, the hardiness of a population that evolved outdoors in a hot, humid climate.

Isolated vs Multi-Spore — What’s the Difference?
A multi-spore syringe holds spores from an entire print: thousands of distinct genetic combinations suspended together. That variety is interesting in its own right, but no two samples from it are quite alike.
An isolate is the opposite approach. A single genetic line has been selected out and stabilized, so the population in the syringe is uniform. That makes an isolate a liquid culture: one stabilized genetic line in sterile solution. Our isolates are formulated and tested to contain zero psilocybin and psilocin, keeping them strictly within microscopy and taxonomy use. For comparative work, for building a reference library, or for documenting a line properly, that consistency is the entire point — it removes the variable so you can study everything else. What’s Included
- One (1) 10cc BD Luer-Lok syringe of North Spore isolated spores
- One (1) sterile 16-gauge needle
- One (1) alcohol prep pad
- Clear How-to-Use insert included with every order
Prepared in Our Cleanroom — Built to ISO-7 Standards
Every syringe is filled under laminar flow in our cleanroom, which is built to ISO-7 standards. The isolate is held in sterile solution, and each batch is sealed, lot-labeled, and tested for contamination before it ships.
Storage & Handling
Store between 36°F and 46°F in a cool, dark place. Properly stored isolated syringes remain viable 3–6 months. Avoid direct sunlight, freezing, and repeated temperature swings.
Shipping
Fast, discreet shipping throughout the USA — and we ship worldwide. Delivered to all U.S. states except Georgia and Idaho. Our isolates are formulated and tested to contain zero psilocybin and psilocin. Customers are responsible for checking the laws in their own state or country.
