The A+ Spore Syringe represents a stabilized Psilocybe cubensis variety originally bred and distributed by the well-known breeder Mr. G, later supplied through a spore vendor in Idaho, we are not sure who. While the precise origins of the strain remain unclear — with some believing it may have roots in South America or Southeast Asia — what is known is that A+ or A Plus cubensis mushrooms quickly gained recognition in the mycology community for its reliable traits and adaptability.
This magic mushroom strain is also historically significant because it provided the genetic basis for the leucistic mutation that gave rise to the world-famous Albino A+ strain.
A+ psilocybe mushrooms are noted for their robust growth in tropical to subtropical environments, producing medium-to-large fruit bodies with classic cubensis morphology. They usually have caramel-colored caps, thick stems, and a consistent spore load. Its reputation for stability has made it a cornerstone strain for researchers and breeders alike who enjoy playing around with mushroom spores that are known to throw albinos.
