Red Reishi 10cc Liquid Culture Syringe

Slow Growing. Highly Respected. Stunning Antler & Conk Formation.

Grow one of the most iconic and visually striking gourmet mushrooms with the Red Reishi (Ganoderma lucidum) 10cc Liquid Culture Syringe from Spore Genetics. Known for its glossy red caps, antler-like formations, and long, elegant growth cycle, Reishi is a rewarding species for cultivators who appreciate patience, hardwood substrates, and unique morphology.

This liquid culture isolate produces clean, vigorous mycelium and excels on logs, supplemented sawdust blocks, and other wood-based substrates—making it a favorite for both indoor and outdoor projects.

Cultivation Profile

Growth Characteristics:
Slow to colonize and fruit, but forms beautiful lacquered conks or antlers depending on airflow and humidity. A great project for growers seeking something visually impressive and long-developing.

Ideal Conditions

Colonization: 75–80°F (24–27°C) for 14–16+ days

Substrates: Hardwood logs, supplemented sawdust blocks, woodchip blends, or enriched wood substrates

Fruiting: 65–75°F with 85–93% humidity

Fresh Air:

Low FAE → produces tall antlers

Higher FAE → develops flat, varnished conks

Fruiting Cycle: Extended; often 45–60+ days depending on environment

Harvest Timing
Harvest when the conks deepen in color and stop producing new edge growth. Reishi becomes denser and more defined as the fruiting cycle completes.

Shipping was fast and the syringes were clean. Stored extra in the fridge for weeks and still no sign of contamination. Good deal.
