Cultivation Profile

Growth Characteristics:
Fast-colonizing LC that produces thick, meaty caps with classic white-speckled patterns. Performs extremely well on enriched hardwood substrates.

Ideal Conditions

Colonization: 70–80°F (21–27°C) with moderate humidity

Substrates: Hardwood sawdust blocks, supplemented sawdust + bran, or inoculated logs

Fruiting: 60–75°F with 85–95% humidity

Fresh Air: Increased FAE during fruiting to develop thicker caps and proper browning

Flushes

Logs: 3–5 flushes over time

Hardwood blocks: 2–3 robust flushes
