The Psilocybe Mexicana Galindoi Isolated Spore Syringe preserves a remarkable lineage of Psilocybe mexicana, revered by the Mazatec people of Oaxaca, Mexico for centuries as part of their sacred entheogenic traditions. This variety, first found in the grasslands south of Guadalajara, was initially considered a separate species until further analysis by Dr. Laura Guzmán-Dávalos (daughter of famed mycologist Dr. Gastón Guzmán) confirmed it as a variety of Psilocybe mexicana. Today, Ps. mexicana var. galindoi remains one of the most culturally significant and taxonomically intriguing cubensis relatives.

Each syringe contains 10cc of high-density Psilocybe Mexican Galindoi Isolated Spores, sterilized and sealed in our ISO-7 cleanroom to guarantee sterility and longevity. Under the microscope, Galindoi mushrooms exhibit 1.5–2 cm bell-shaped caps ranging from yellowish-brown when moist to straw-colored when dried, slender stems (5–6.5 cm long, 1–2 mm thick), and brown gills with whitish edges. These traits distinguish it from other Psilocybe Mexican varieties and highlight its unique evolutionary adaptations.

Researchers value Galindoi not only for its distinct phenotype but also for its ability to produce both mushrooms and sclerotia (truffles)—two expressions of the same organism. While mushrooms form above ground, sclerotia develop underground as hardened nutrient stores, a survival strategy that allows the species to endure harsh climates. While this species does produce both mushrooms and truffles, it tends to lean more towards the truffle forming side with massive sclerotia forming within the substrate.
