Oak Ridge Spore Syringe – 10cc | Spore Genetics
A cold-hardy Tennessee landrace with resilient genetics
The Oak Ridge Psilocybe cubensis strain is a rare landrace variety originally collected from equine dung just five miles west of the Y12 National Nuclear Laboratory in Oak Ridge, Tennessee. This northernmost cubensis collection recorded to date is prized for its cold-hardiness, aggressive colonization, and exceptional contamination resistance.
Each mushroom spore syringe contains 10cc of Oak Ridge mushroom spores, carefully prepared in our ISO-7 certified cleanroom to ensure sterility and reliability. Under the microscope, spores belong to mushrooms with long golden-yellow stems and medium-to-large caps that mature with warm golden-brown tones. Researchers admire Oak Ridge for its vigorous mycelium, often described as “lightning fast,” and its ability to resist contamination under conditions where many other strains would fail. This cubensis strain is also known to perform well in cool environments making it a great magic mushroom strain to research all year around!
Known as a good fruiter with medium-to-high potency genetics, Oak Ridge spores stand out as a historically significant, hard-to-find American Strain with a reputation for stability.
