The Ecuador Spore Syringe features a classic Psilocybe cubensis landrace variety collected from the northern mountain regions of Ecuador. Some mushroom researchers debate whether cubensis naturally grows in this area or if it was introduced by humans, but its durability and resilience at high altitudes (low oxygen levels) are undeniable.

The Ecuador magic mushroom strain (often called EQ, ECU, or Ecuadorian Spores) is a favorite among researchers for its ability to produce large, consistent, multiple flush, magic mushrooms in a tub. Its caramel-brown mushroom caps paired with dense, white stems that bruise a deep blue when touched make it both strong and visually fascinating. This magic mushroom spore strain is also admired for its resistance to contamination and its tendency to appear in full clusters, making it one of the most reliable cubensis landraces for mushroom spore study.
